World Impact

new-image1.jpg

For nearly 95 years now Ashland Avenue Baptist Church has been radically committed to reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ, beginning in Lexington and extending to the ends of the earth.

We believe the truth of Scripture that every person who has never believed in the gospel of Jesus Christ are in rebellion to God and hoplessly lost in the world. We also believe that to bring glory to King Jesus we must call the peoples of the world to consider Him as their supreme treasure. Impacting the world in this takes on several forms at AABC.

From personally sharing the hope we have in Jesus with our neighbors, to rescuing and caring for abandoned children, to feeding the poor,  to planting churches here and around the world, our desire is that the gospel of Jesus Christ be proclaimed on every square inch of the planet.

How will you serve 145 million orphans?

There are an estimated 145 million orphans in the world. As a church body, together, we have a responsibility to alleviate as much of their pain and suffering as possible.  Many of us may never adopt or travel around the world to personally serve orphans.  Our 2010 World Impact Conference provides all of us with and opportunity to serve orphans in some way.

The only question is, “How?” Every single member of AABC must ask this question! By serving during our World Impact Conference you will be doing something!

Read through the teams or go ahead and scroll down to sign up!
