Journey

Journey is the children’s ministry of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church. The Bible tells the most exciting story every told. Its a story about how Jesus lets us be apart and His Kingdom that will one day takeover the whole world. Journey exists to tell this exciting story and to see them one day Journey to ends of the earth to tell others about Jesus and His Kingdom.

VBS – This Week (July 20-24)

AABC’s annual Vacation Bible School is this week (July 20-24) for ages 3-5th grade from 6:00-8:30 p.m.  There will be lots of fun, including games, crafts, and rally times for kids of all ages.  Make sure to join us for this exciting week as we learn more about what the Bible says about Jesus.  You can register for VBS when you arrive.  For more information call the church office 266-4341.

Coconut Hut

Now that school is almost over it’s time to get away and have some fun!  So we want to welcome all kids (ages 2-5th grade) to the Coconut Hut, an oceanview paradise with inflatable games, food, and a water safari.  Throughout the summer at the Coconut Hut, you can have a blast with all your friends and learn more about Jesus.  Help us kick off our summer adventure and stop by the Coconut Hut for a luau on May 31 @ 6:00 pm, with special guest, “The Coconut Kid.” Don’t forget to make a splash by wearing your water gear! Ages 2 years-5th grade.

Its Cool in the Furnace – Journey Musical

Join us this Sunday for It’s Cool in the Furnace.  At 6:00 pm, Journey (AABC children’s ministry) will present a gospel-centered musical.  Don’t miss this occasion to hear the story of God’s power to deliver His people! 

Journey Pancake Breakfast – March 22nd

On Sunday 22nd 8:30-10:15 (during Bible Fellowship Groups), our Journey Children’s Ministry will host a Pancake Breakfast.  All donations go to Ends of the Earth Giving, which includes our $30,000 Lottie Moon Offering goal for 2009.  Everyone is invited. Make plans to attend and support our children as they take part in The World Mission by serving in this way.
