Equipped Wednesdays are our way of being family friendly and at the same time providing a wide range of ministry opportunities for our church body.  We realize that families are busy during the week with school, work, sports and recreation, social events, and a variety of other commitments.  The last thing we want to do is further segment that family by scheduling something on every night of the week.  So we are doing our best to have everything we can on one night of the week.  Our equipped Wednesdays have the three main goals of strengthening our sense of community as a church, working to accomplish the mission in our community and around the world, and seeking to be transformed by God’s Word through various forms of discipleship.   Join us for Equipped Wednesdays beginning May 7, 2008

For Community:

5:30 PM - Meal - Family Center

Our Bible Fellowship Groups are teaming up with the Kitchen Team to provide a meal each Wednesday night beginning at 5:30. This affordable weekly meal is designed to help families on the go by providing a healthy meal on a busy night of the week. The meal also provides a weekly opportunity to build community by fellowshipping with those in our church body. As the meal is ending around 6:15, we will pray with those at our table prior to dismissing for our Equipped Wednesdays activities.

For Mission:

6:30 PM - Touch Point Invite Night

Each Wednesday we send out a small army of people into the community to visit with those who have been so kind to visit our church. We follow up with them offering bread and information about our church, always looking for opportunities to encourage and share the gospel. We need everyone to commit to at least one Wednesday night a month. 

For Transformation:

6:30 PM - Community Bible Study

Join us in the Worship Center at 6:30 to be challenged with the Word of God. Pastor Nate will be leading our first Community Bible Study with a study on Biblical Worship.

6:30 PM - Ladies’ Transformation Bible Study

Our ladies are studying “Seeking Him.” If you are interested in becoming a part of one of our Ladies’ Bible Studies, please call Pat Hisel (389-9030).

6:30 PM - 111 Groups

Our 111 Groups will be dynamic, relational discipleship groups that meet on Wednesday evenings. You may be challenged to be a part of one of these life changing groups in the days ahead. “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1

Connexion, Veritas, and Journey, our college, youth, and children’s ministries respectively will meet according to their regularly scheduled times.
